Position requires knowledge in the area of selling professional services into the Federal Government with an emphasis on civilian agencies. The candidate is responsible for positioning IAI as a provider of solutions, systems, and services to the U.S. Federal Government market. Past experience selling into DHS, HHS, or the VA a plus. Also, relationships with System Integrators a plus. Candidate should have excellent verbal and writing skills and must be able to provide support on proposal efforts. Candidate should ensure there is a viable sales process in place and that the process includes effective internal communications to keep the business unit team and IAI senior leadership apprised and engaged. The Sales Executive should also identify potential strategic relationships with synergistic services and products that IAI can leverage with its existing clients. Also, selling Cyber Security products and services or Cloud services is a plus. That process will also incorporate formal forecasting, market intelligence and sales planning. The candidate should coordinate with IAI divisions, business units, or product team to conduct financial analysis, construct proposals, and negotiate the order closings. Must be able to customize IAI strategies and influence research, products and services that both satisfy unique customer requirements and offer acceptable investment returns, as well as maximizing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
